Each part of The Big God Story (TruBlessing/David C. Cook) is repeated two weeks in a row; storytelling techniques and activities are different each Sunday. Preschoolers will use their senses to explore God’s Word through a variety of activities and crafts, storytelling and worship.

(null) Hamilton the Hedgehog joins us each Sunday for The Big God Story, and helps the teacher tell the story.

CELEBRATE/WORSHIP/TRADITIONS-Children worship through song, prayer, and Traditions.  During traditions, children work toward a common goal; giving them mementos to celebrate accomplishments such as memorizing the Remember Verse, bringing a friend, or bring their Bibles.

Our Rock Wall is used as part of our common-goal Tradition. Children receive rocks as their weekly mementos and put them in the  clear housing of the Rock Wall.

IMG_2177THE BIG GOD STORY-Shares the Bible’s content in the context of its original story-line;  and elevating Jesus, the RedeeIMG_2256mer, to His rightful place in the story-line.  It teaches  children that God, the Author of the story, is still writing it- and He has chosen a part for each of us to play.  Children are engaged in the story through props, videos, puppets, and much more.

BLESSINGChildren are blessed through a prayer and a portion of scripture. This time transitions each child from being blessed to being a blessing to others.
