For October 30th

In this week’s Big God Story-God Cares for Me (Manna in the Desert)
After leaving Egypt, Moses and the Israelites had a long road ahead of them. The people started complaining early in the journey. God heard their grumbling and told Moses He would send food from heaven. He also gave special instructions about taking only enough food for each day. When the people woke up, the ground was covered in manna. God cares for the needs of His people.

Blessing: Children, God loves you and takes care of you.

The Big God Story this Sunday – God Saves (Joseph, Part 2)
Joseph knew that God had saved him and his brothers. Joseph knew that God had let him go through all of the things he did—rejection, slavery,
jail—so God could use him. God didn’t just save Joseph and his family; through them, God saved many other lives too.
Through all the hard times Joseph experienced, God was weaving His story, a story that saved Joseph and his family. And because they were saved, Jesus came to earth to die for our sins. By trusting and obeying Jesus, we can be saved too and become a part of God’s family.

Blessing: May you know that God loves you. He saved you. He protects you and will always be with you in difficult times.
Psalm 62:1–2, 5–8:
Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.
Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him.
Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.
Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.
