“Moses: Ordinary Hero”: “God’s Plan for my Enemy”
Main Focus: When under attack, we must focus on God-not on our enemy
Power Verse: The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. Exodus 15:2
The Israelites were in a terrible position. They were standing between Pharaoh’s army and the Red Sea. They began to panic and yell at Moses. The fact is, the Israelites were completely focused on their enemy. They had lost focus on the God who had led them out of Egypt. They became enemy-focused rather than God focused.

When facing an attack from the enemy, we have a tendency to become paralyzed with fear because we focus only on the enemy’s attack and lose sight of how powerful our God really is. He will always defeat the enemy with His power!!

Saturday,May 27th
“Moses: Ordinary Hero”: “Holy Cow?”
Main Focus: God can restore you when you mess up and fail
Power Verse: But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. 1 John 1:9
Moses’ brother, Aaron, made a HUGE mistake. He helped the people of Israel to worship a golden calf instead of worshiping God. Moses was NOT happy with him, and neither was God. Instead of holding it over Aaron’s head the rest of his life, Moses game him a second chance.

We have all sinned, messed up, and failed God. We all know the pain and shame of sin. Even when we fail, God will forgive and restore us if we are humble and repent.
