LEADER SPOTLIGHT || Nicole Williamson This is Nicole’s first year as a GenT leader! She did join us for Districts last year, “but what a memorable journey getting there in a blizzard! 🥶” Nicole has become quite a reader in the past few years. “I do a combination of traditional, audio and digital. In 2024, I read 29 books!” And she loves a good game night! “Some favorites include Codenames, Beyond Balderdash, Fish Bowl, Empire and Up & Down the River.” Her favorite Bible story is Noah’s. “I love seeing how faithful Noah and his family were, trusting in God, and obeying Him.”

The Southern Lakes Dream Team made it to the championship game of DODGE THIS on Sunday 🤾 Next year that title is good as ours ☄️

These guys want to remind you that Jesus didn’t just tell His followers what love is, but He showed them what love is on the cross. See you next week 🫡

LEADER SPOTLIGHT 🔦 - Abby has been a GenT leader for 6 years! - Abby has this memory to share from Districts: "There was a call from the stage for us to seek forgiveness from and ask forgiveness of anyone we needed to. There was another leader there that I had been feeling called to talk to about something from our past. In that moment, she had the same feeling and we were able to forgive each other and there was restoration." - She loves playing the piano and Settlers of Catan! - Her favorite Bible character is Moses, "because it's such a great reminder of how God can use us even when we think we are incapable or when we don't want to or when we are inconsistent. His love is enduring and perfect. We don't have the ability to meet His perfection, but He makes a way for us to be in relationship with Him." THANK YOU, ABBY!

LEADER SPOTLIGHT 🔦 PATRICK WALBY Patrick has been a GenT leader for 3 and a half years! His favorite hobby is building Lego sets. "There's nothing more relaxing yet frustrating. I've got a lot of sets to build and can't wait to dive in." His favorite Bible story is the parable of the good Samaritan. "It's a great reminder that helping someone in need is a choice. No matter what your or others' circumstances are, you are able to help anyone. You just have to choose to do so. It reminds me to keep my eyes open, to be ready for the time of those choices and that I can help those in need." And what is Patrick's favorite midnight snack? "A spoonful of Peanut Butter." Thank you, Patrick!

💡 LEADER SPOTLIGHT 💡 | HEATHER SHEREOS Heather has been a GenT leader for 3 years! Her favorite memory from GenT is the 2022 Spring Retreat at Camp Fairwood (Ghost in the Graveyard, anyone?) She loves connecting with family and friends by doing what they love with them: coffee dates, sports, camping, and more. And she likes traveling and baking too! Her favorite board game is Candy Land 🍬🍭 "I love so many Bible stories! One that stands out to me is Hosea and Gomer. Through Hosea and Gomer’s marriage, God shows His infinite patience and love for us, that, even when we are hurting Him, He loves us enough to discipline us and bring us back into His fold. He doesn’t give up on us despite our hardened hearts and wrongdoing. There is redemption over and over, a hope for our future, and a love never-wavering." Thank you, Heather!

Series finale of Worth Sharing TOMORROW NIGHT. Remember, God invited us to share the GOOD NEWS about Jesus. Sharing starts with PRAYER, sometimes requires RISK, and can happen EVERY DAY.

Remember, you have no idea how far your encouragement can go — kind words cost you nothing to give away. So, what’s stopping you?

Over-the-top generous = over-the-top reward 🧪 We grew in our generosity so much last month, and we HAD to recognize that somehow. Sliming @jdswedberg15 seemed like a good way to do it.

Remember, to overcome distractions, we must rely on God to help us be generous and care for the people in our lives.
